About the workshop
Remaining calm is essential to delivering high-quality interpretation.
Discover the strategies that help you stay relaxed even when things go awry.
Fast speakers, slow speakers, sound issues, organizational SNAFUs. So many things can make us lose our cool in the booth.
Join our workshop to learn practical strategies that will help you relax instead of tensing up — even if things don't go your way.
This workshop will include:
- Mindful breathing and check-ins — establishing focus and regulating your nervous system.
- Voice exercises — sounding competent and composed even when caught off guard.
- Tips for emotional regulation under cognitive load — letting go of errors instead of letting them pressure you.
Who is this for?
For simultaneous and consecutive interpreters who want to maintain their composure, protect their delivery quality, and preserve their sanity under stressful booth conditions.
