English-native Ukrainian interpretation

I am one of a very small number of English-native interpreters who work with Ukrainian. I grew up in the United States and in Ukraine, so when I interpret between English and Ukrainian, I go from one native language to another.

There are very few people in Europe that have this skillset. So if you’re organizing an English-Ukrainian event, and you want natural and idiomatic interpretation in both languages, I am most definitely your best choice.

Conference interpretation

Real-time simultaneous interpretation when time and accuracy is of essence and you have the technology to support this. Available via Zoom and on-site in the EU.

Consecutive interpretation

A slower-paced format where the interpreter and speaker take turns talking. Suitable for on-the-go environments and settings where an interpretation booth would be impractical.

Here are samples of my interpretation.

As you listen, see if you can notice the prosody (the rhythm of speech), the way I strategically use stress and silence, and the natural turn of phrase.

I tell a story when I interpret. It’s easy to listen to. And this is what makes it stay with the listener.

Let me be the voice that shares your story with the world.

Healthcare Military medicine Security Humanitarian issues Innovation

I have been interpreting between English and Ukrainian since 2016.

In my 10 years of interpeting simultaneously, I have become an expert in all topics concerning Ukraine and its path.

I specialize in military medicine, security and warfare, as well as support for veterans and refugees.

Being an interpreter means knowing how to learn fast. So if you’re working with a topic not listed here, I’ll study it as thoroughly as possible, compile an exhaustive bilingual glossary, and deliver interpretation that is terminologically flawless.
